About
Me
Hi there! My name is Cheyenne Anderson, and I am a writer/producer/performer/creative, and a senior at Pace University.

To get to this level of title-hyphenation, I’ve done a little bit of everything. From going to a performing arts boarding school, to passing out flyers in Times Square dressed as an ensemble member from Chicago, and from making slideshows to convince my mom to let me dye my hair to being Santa’s helper in the mall, there’s almost nothing I won’t do.

Originally from a part of Kentucky so small that its location is only describable by the surrounding towns, I came to New York for excitement and got just that, then found it again in Washington DC once the COVID pandemic struck.

As reigning President of an army of performing arts undergraduates I serve in Student Government, I am often found writing strongly worded emails, putting out fires, and then starting new ones.

In the rehearsal room, you’ll probably find my working on some sort of new work. My artistic brand can be lovingly described as "boisterous angst", but I'm more than happy putting any piece under a magnifying glass and helping to tinker and make it better.

In my free time, when I’m not working at one of the fanciest Starbucks you’ve ever seen or keeping my two cats (Batman and Willoughby) out of the frame of a zoom call, I enjoy reading new plays, sketching out poems in my Notes app, finding places to string a hammock without being arrested, and listening to NPR.
